Government Controling the Media

There is one thing that drives me insane and that is the government has a major say in what we read, watch, and hear. What do I mean by that? The news you hear on the T.V. there major cover story is not what is going on in the world but what celebrity messed up next or even what they wearing is it a fashion do or a fashion don't. You pick up a newspaper and on the cover page is what celebrity messed up next. What about we put on the cover what politician fucked up today? Or how about how many soldiers and innocent civilians did we kill in Iraq today? Whatever crisis our nation is being effected by at that moment. Ever so often you will read a little something about it in the paper or the news station will give 30 second segment to event. Is what they saying really filled with tons of facts or giving us an useful information. What they tell you is just skimming the surface of what is really going on. The government does not want you to know because knowledge is power. If the government educates and let's the people know what is really going on you just might want to make a change. When people are educated on a situation and are not pleased by the issue they will fight for a change. The government limiting the facts and information you are provided with the less likely people will be to protest the information. By less people objecting the government the easier things will flow there way.
